Hi, I’m Ed Duncan, a computer professional and the proud owner of CMIT Solutions of Fort Lauderdale. I chose a career in technology because it’s an ever-evolving field that impacts every aspect of our of lives, with breakthroughs happening at an incredible pace. I’ve had the privilege of working at some of the industry’s leading companies, including Microsoft and Citrix.

Like many in tech, I started in support and administration, progressing through roles as a systems engineer, senior systems engineer, and ultimately a systems architect. I continue to consult and provide IT strategic planning for small businesses.

As a business owner, I understand the unique challenges small business owners face. My mission now is to deliver technology solutions that don’t just solve problems but drive success. My goal is to help businesses grow faster, streamline operations, and unlock new efficiencies.

I started this site to share some of my experience and knowledge from working with Citrix and Microsoft technologies. I also wanted to share my insights from evaluating some of the latest AI offerings. I believe that AI can somewhat level the playing field, allowing small businesses to compete with the larger ones. I will continue to publish articles on both topics and more with a focus on solutions to help small businesses thrive.
